The humble Peticon of John Butt< no role > of the Hamlet
of Wapping Stepney in the Said County.

Sheweth


That about four years past one James Gale< no role > did put him selfe Apprntice
to your Peticoner for the term of Seven years comencing from the
date of his Indenture of Apprenticeship As thereby may appeare.
That the Said Apprentice hath frequently and by lawfully absented himselfe from his
Said Service and hath divers times fraudulently taken away or Stolne
your Petrs. goods and in also guilty of divers other crimes & misdemeanors
which your Petr. is ready to make appeare to this Honble Court.
