The Informacon of Thomas Price< no role > one of the [..]
Constables of the parish of Acton taken upon Oath this
13th day of August in the 13th year of his Maties reigne over England Etc. 1701
This Informant deposeth that being call'd out of his bed about one of the
clock this morning by Richard Stratford< no role > a Jockey man in the said parish
to take into his custody Frances< no role > the wife of Francis Turner< no role > of Westcomb
in the county of Somersett Weaver he found in her apron seven cocks &
pullets alive wch he suspected to be stollen & therupon threatning to bring
her before some Justice of the Peace shee confess'd shee had them in a cart
house in Ealing wch prov'd to be the cocks & hens of Robert Crosly< no role > of
Ealing victler & therupon the said constable deliverd the said cocks &
hens to the said Crosly & brought the said Frances Turner< no role > before me

wth a slit in Each foot, all wch he had of the said Thomas Price< no role >

The Informacon of Sarah< no role > the wife of John Stibbs< no role > of new Brentford Bodiesmaker
taken upon Oath at the same time

This Informant deposeth that the said Frances Turner< no role > being Entertain'd by her
said husband to work at by trade on Munday morning last, the said Sarah
Stibbs
< no role > finding the said Turner not to come to work this morning & having
lost a silver watch wth a red ribon two Muslin neckcloths & about three yards of orange
colourd galloom shee suspected the said Turner to have stollen them &
therupon her husband & shee went severall wairs to Enquire after the said
Turner & heard of her at that shee past by the signe of the May pole in
Ealing field about half on houre before, the said Sarah stibbs< no role > follow'd her
to new Brentford & by her said husbands direction found her at the Harrow
door & follow'd her to my house where by, my Order shee Search'd the said
Turner & found upon her the said watch in a leather purse under her staies next
her flesh & the said ribon & galloom but not the neck cloths
