Henry Carter< no role > of Wich Streete in the Pish of St. Clements
Danes in the Said County Mathin atitall In Strement
Maker taken before me Ralph MarShake< no role > Esqr. this 30th.
day of August Anno Did 1699.

Who upon his Oath Saith That on the 28th. day of July last
whilst he was at dinner in his Said Master house, he Saw & Sula
Howard
< no role > the woman now Prsent goe & P his Masters Staires to
Speake with Some of his Lodgers as he Supposed and within
the Space of halfe a quarter of an house as he Supposes came
dowle the Staires againe & want a way with Some thing in her Apron (haveing
nothing therein as She went &P) which he thought, She brought
from Some of the Lodgers, That Prsently after She was gone hee
went & P into the Garrett where his turned Stood, and found it
open and his brithes and there Shirts Stolen there out,
value about fifteene Shillings, as alsoe apaire of Shooes with
paire of Silver buckles in them belonging to his Said Master
Which Stood by his Turnke Stole away, All Which were in the said
Garrett Imediately before he went to dinner, and possitmely
Charges the Said Ursula Howard< no role > to have Stole the said goods.
noe other person being in the Garrett from the time he had them
to the time he mist them.
