Whereas Complaint hath been made unto Us, whole Hands
and Seals are hereunto fet, two of His Majesty's Justices of
the Peace of the County of Middlesex (Quorum unus) by the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Giles in the
Fields in the said County, that Mary Gardner< no role > & [..] Gerrard
her Sonn
islately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to settle
her Selfe there without giving Notice in Writing to the
said Church-Wardens, or Overseers of the Poor or any one of them
of the House of her lastaboad in the said Parish, ac-
cording to the Statute in that Case made and provided, And that
She islikely likely to become chargeable to the
said Parish; And whereas it appeareth unto Us the said Justices upon
the Oath of the said Mary Gardner< no role >
that she was last legally setled in the Parish of
St Anns Westmr she being there an Inhabitant
& house keeper for ye replaces of three Quarters of a year
paying 13 Pounds P Annm & hath had no Settlemt. Since
These are therefore in His Majesty's Name Straitly to Charge and
Command you and every of you, forthwith upon sight hereof to
remove and convey the said Mary Gardner< no role > & Gerrard Gardner< no role >
her sonn from the said Parish of St. Giles in the Fields
in the said County, and so from Constable to Constable, the next and
directest way to the said Pish of St Anns Westmr.
and deliver he [..] unto the Church-Wardens, and Overseers of
[..] Poor the [..] are hereby required to provide for her [..]
[..] ing to [..] not at your pern [..] Given under our
[..] and Sea [..] [..] ch day of October this

Constables , Headboroughs , and other His Majesty's
Officers and Ministers whom these may concern.
