WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, Two of his Majesties Justices of
the Peace of the County of Middlesex
(Quoram unus) by the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St. Mary Whitechappellin the said County, that
Susanna Haines< no role > Singlewom hath
lately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to settle
herselfethere, without giving Notice in Writing to the said
Church-Wardens, or Overseers of the Poor, or any one of them of the
House of herabode in the said Parish, according to
the Statute in that Case made and provided; And that she being Sick
is
likely to become chargeable to the said Parish; and whereas it appeareth
unto Us the said Justices upon the Oath of the said Susanna Haines< no role >
that she waslast legally settled in the Parish of St. Clements
Daines in the sd. County as an hired Servant by the year to
Sarah Wright< no role > in Dukes street near Clare Market widw. where
she served for whole year for forty Shillings Wages.

These are therefore in his - Majeties Name Straitly to Charge and Com-
mand you and every of you, forthwith upon fight hereof to remove and
convey the said Susanna Haines< no role > from the sd. Parish of
Mary White Chappell unto the sd. Parish of St. Clement Danes
and deliver herunto the Church-Wardens, and Overseers of the
Poor there, who are hereby required to provide for her
according to Law: Hereof sail not at your Perils. Given under our Hands
and Seals, the 13thday of May Ch. Dui 1698.

To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor, and to all Constables, Headboroughs,
and other Officers and Ministers, whom these
may concern.
