Edward Wood< no role > of Rushy in the County of hertford yeoud maketh Oath That
goeing home from London on Tuesday last about Six of the Clock
in the evening att a place called Commons Bottom between
Edgware & Stammore in the County of Middx he coas felt upon by
three highway men one horse Cart one of Wih threatned to
Street him through the head of her if he did not alight & deliver his
mony & thereupon this Informant alight being fighter wth [..]
pocket & teet [..]
a greats worth of Farthings that this Informant had between [..]
& five pounds more in another pocket but Company comon [..]
in the Said Highwaymen Fled And this Informant further
Saith that this morning he went to Newgate to fee a Jason
who was taken that might upon a forth pursuit as he was
Informed & Committed by Mr Milner a Justice of peace of Matt
but the Turnkey refused to let him have a fight of the Said
Jason him a hight [..] he would way eight [..] place see that he who forced to view him of
Candle night thought a grate And this Informant further
Saith that the thricke [..] the Said Jason who at he is Informant
goos by the name of William [..] Bromfeild< no role > to be one of
the Jesons who relesed him as aforesaid And this Informant
further Saith that one of the Jesons who robbrs him was
on a Grey horse & that Imediately the Countey come in
& purssues them
