Shee saith that Towne & his wife were in her husbands house
& had been there about halfe an houre wheat the Cry was
that John Gapps< no role > a soldier had Murthered his wife That shee
see the said Gapps come out of Serjant Dowsings house abath
noon & that at the same time Town & his wife were in her
said Husbands shopp that after the said Gapps was gone there
was a great Cry that ye said Gapps has Murdered his wife

aforesaid Butcher taken upon Oath the day &
yeare wth in written

He Saith that about four a Clock this afternoon being at
a house in Tottenham Cort . Lead a man who was there present
tould this Informant that there was a soldier & woman crossed
the highway wth a Racsg & therefore he thought they might have
comitted some Robbery & therefore wished him to Follow them
that hee did follow them (together wth one John Barnes< no role > ) that
when he came upp to them the woman & the Soldier were together &
another man in couloured cloaths att some distance yt the woman
exduced the Bayy wth a soldiers Coat & Hatt & Belt shed saying
