Upon reading the humble peticon & appeal of the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the poor of the parish of St John Wapping in this
County exhibited unto this Court th [..] y She bing that the Anne
Judson< no role > with her three children John< no role > , Daniell< no role > , & Elizabeth< no role > were
lately passed by warrt under the hands & seals of Sr Michaell
Cole< no role > Kt & Richard Rider< no role > Esqr two of his Maties Justices of
the peace for this County (Ruoqunns) from the pish of St Ann
within the Libty of Westmr in this County to the Said pish of
St John Wapping as the place of the last settlement of [..]
Juds [..] Peticonr [..]
their Councell that the Said Daniell Judson< no role > had noe legal
Settlement in the said parish and therefore prayed that this Court
would allow the Said appeal And the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the poor of the Said pish of St Ann Westmr being prsent in
Court & alledging that they had not timely notice to attend this
Court & were not prpared with witnesses to make out the
Settlement of the Said Daniell Judson< no role > to in the Said pish of St
John Wapping as they could doe [..] they [..] time given them
till the next Quarter Sessions of the peace to be held for the
County And Forasmuch as the Said peticon was prsented this day
being the last day of this prsent Sessions Itt is thought fitt & ordered
by this Court that the hearing & determinacon of the Said appeal
be adjorned to the Second day of the next generall quarter Sessions of the
Peace to be hold for this County att which time all parties come [..]
