Order to Confirm an Order
made at last Gent Sessions for
Vacating former orders for
erecting a Watch house att
Cowerosse }


Whereas at the General Session of the Peace held for
this County by adjournment at Hicks Hall in St. John
Street in this county the thirteenth day of December last
for the Reasons therein contained It was Ordered that
all former Orders made at any General of Quarter Sessions
of the Peace held for this County for the erecting of any Watchmen
upon the Hill near Cow Cross in the Parish of Saint Sepulchre
in this County and all Proceedings thereon should be discharged
and vacated this Court being this day informed by the said
Inhabitants of the said Hill that the other Inhabitants
of the said Parish thought themselves not obliged to obey the
said Orders for vacating the former Orders granted for
erecting a Watchouse upon the said Hill the same not being
made at a General Quarter Sessions of the Peace doth
think fit and recordingly Order that the said recited Order
for vacating the said former Orders be satifyed and confirmed
by the Authority of this Court and doth hereby ratifye and
confirm the same and require the Parishioners of the
said Parish and all other Officers concerned therein to yeild
due Obedience thereto as they and every of them will answer
it at their Perills
