at the Hour of One in the afternoon and that Notice
thereof be inserted in the Public Newspapers

By adjournment same Day

Ordered That the sum of £40. being the
usual Annual Allowance made to Mr.. Edward
Hall the Housekeeper at the Session House for this
County towards the Expence incurred by him
in providing Coals and Candles for the Justices
during the holding their Sessions and other
Public Meetings for one year ending the 30th..
day of May Instant be paid to him and that the
Clerk of the peace do issue an Order upon the
Treasurer of this County for the payment thereof

By adjournment same Day

The following Petition of Mr.. Samuel Skinner< no role >
the Contractor for supplying the House of Correction
in Cold Bath Fields with Butchers Meat being laid
before this Court and Read Vizt..

To the Worshipful His Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the
peace for the County of Middlesex .

The Humble Petition of Samuel Skinner< no role >
Butcher of Cow Cross

Most Humbly Sheweth

That Your Petitioner having contracted to
serve the House of Correction for the said County with
Butchers Meat free from bone at 4d. Pr.. lb your
Petitioner from the unforseen Rise of the Market
has been a very severe looser for several Months past
and if your Worships should deem it proper that
he should fulfil the Contract; it will operate to the
total ruin of himself and Family that of a Wife
Three Children and an Aged Mother whose support
entirely depend upon his own Industry.

Your Petitioner begs leave to State the loss
which he has already sustained Confidentially
