I have been a Servant in the Old and New
County House of Correction 26. Years. I am the
person who receives the Money for Beds - I have
the care of the Bed Prisoners - John Roberts< no role > had
a Bed seven Nights for which he paid one shilling
a night I asked him if he wished to have a
Bed he say'd Yes - I told him he must pay one
shilling Pr. night which he did I dont recollect
I ever had any Conversation with him about a
