<p n="21">Bread made of Wheat alone from which no more than five pounds weight<lb></lb>
of Bran Per Bushel is excluded And we will also (if it shall be necessary<lb></lb>
for the purpose of this Engagement) prohibit in our Families the use of<lb></lb>
Wheaten Flour in Pastry and diminish as much as possible the use<lb></lb>
thereof in other Articles than Bread.</p>
<p n="22">By some one or more of these Measures or by any other which may<lb></lb>
be found equally effectually and more expedient and practicable in our<lb></lb>
respective Situations we will to the utmost of our Power ensure the Reduction<lb></lb>
abovementioned, of at last One third of the Quantity of Wheat usually<lb></lb>
consumed in our Families in Ordinary Times</p>
<p n="23">This Engagement shall remain in force until Fourteen Day's<lb></lb>
after the Commencement of the next Session of Parliament unless the<lb></lb>
Average price of Wheat in the whole Kingdom, shall be reduced before that<lb></lb>
Time to Eight shillings Per Winchester Bushel and we do earnestly.<lb></lb>
recommend to our fellow Subjects to adopt and strictly to adhere to the same</p>
<p n="24">Ordered - That the said Agreement be engrossed on a Roll of<lb></lb>
Parchment with distinction for the Counties and Places therein accor-<lb></lb>
-ding to the Roll for subscribing the Test - and that the Agreement be left<lb></lb>
at the Office of the Clerk of the Journals of this House in Order to be subscribed<lb></lb>
by such Members of this House as chuse to sign the same themselves<lb></lb>
or who shall signify their desire to any other Member of the House or to<lb></lb>
the Clerk of the Journals to subscribe the same for them.</p>
<p n="25">Resolutions come to by the Lords for reducing the Consumption<lb></lb>
of Wheat and also an Agreement entered into by them relative thereto</p>

<p n="27">Resolved Nemine Dissentiente, by the Lords Spiritual and<lb></lb>
Temporal in Parliament assembled that in consequence of the High price<lb></lb>
and deficient supply of Wheat it is expedient to adopt such Measures<lb></lb>
as may be practicable for diminishing the consumption thereof during<lb></lb>
the Continuance of the present Pressure and for introducing the use of<lb></lb>
such Articles as may conveniently be substituted in the place thereof</p>
