<p n="2870">the extra Trouble occasioned to him by means of the Militia Act" Your, <lb></lb>
Committee proceeded to the consideration of the matters to them referred<lb></lb>
relative to the allowance to be made the <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMGO55610_occ1229">Treasurer</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55610_occ1229" type="occupation" value="Treasurer"></interp>
for his extraordinary trouble<lb></lb>
labour and Expence in transacting and negociating that business whilst the<lb></lb>
Militia is embodied and in actual service</p>
<p n="2871">That your Committee hath been attended by the Treasurer who<lb></lb>
hath shewn his Books of Accounts and stated the particulars of such Service</p>
<p n="2872">That it appears to your Committee that 307 Families have been<lb></lb>
relieved the Names of whom are entered on the said Books.</p>
<p n="2873">That 73 Parishes are already entered on the said Books with<lb></lb>
the several Overseers of which the Treasurer must negociate business.</p>
<p n="2874">That 33 other Counties are already entered on the said Books<lb></lb>
with whom the Treasurer must also negociate.</p>
<p n="2875">That much time is necessarily expended in examining<lb></lb>
exchanging, settling and Discharging the Account with the several Overseers<lb></lb>
in <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMGO55610_geo2384">Middlesex</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55610_geo2384" type="placeName" value="Middlesex"></interp>
<interp inst="LMSMGO55610_geo2384" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
and the Treasurers of other Counties</p>
<p n="2876">That the Writings contained in such Books of Account Letters<lb></lb>
and Copies transmitted comprize more than 2000 common Law Sheets.</p>
<p n="2877">Your Committee therefore are Unanimously of Opinion, That<lb></lb>
the Sum of One Hundred and five Pounds per Annum from May session 1793<lb></lb>
to the time the Militia shall be disembodied be paid to the County <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMGO55610_occ1230">Treasurer</rs>

<lb></lb>
for his extra trouble in the Militia business.</p>

Correction having been laid before the Court Resolved that the considern.<lb></lb>
of the same be adjourned but it being stated to the Court that it would be<lb></lb>
necessary immediately to have some proper Person to officiate as Chaplain</p>
