The Magistrates acting in the said Hundred present in Court
having recommended George Handy as a proper Person to succeed to the
said office and the said George Handy attending is by the Court appointed
High Constable
of the said Hundred of Elthorne
in this Country & thereupon
is Sworn into the said Office accordingly.

Mr. Gibbs the Apothecary and Mr Chamberlayne his Assistant
attended the Committee and Reported that no Person in the Gaol had
Died since the last Meeting of the Committee and Mr Gibbs added that the
Gaol was in as good a state as he remembers the same to have been in for
several years at this season of the year.
The Committee them viewed several different Specimens or
Patterns of Cloathing and after having consulted the Medical Gentlemen
thereon.
Resolved that all the Linen Trousers which had been
furnished for the use of the Sick Prisoners should be returned and that
warmer ones should be procured.
