Resolved that the following order be forthwith delivered
to the said High Constable of the said Hundred Vizt.
A Letter having been received from one of the Justices
of the Peace for this County addressed to this Court suggesting
that Hand Bills had been distributed at Edmonton
and about
the Neighbourhood thereof signed by the High Constable of that
Division which may tend to create disputes, Breaches of the
Peace and other Disorders at a Statute advertised to be held at
Edmonton
on the 14th. 15th. and 16th. days of September next this
Court taking the same into Consideration do hereby Order that
Mr William Wright< no role >
the High Constable
do attend the Court on
Saturday next at 12 o Clock at noon respecting his Conduct on
the matter aforesaid and to receive such directions as the Court
shall think proper to give respecting the same.
And It is also Ordered that the said William
Wright do at the same time shew cause why he has not paid to
the Treasurer of this County his Quota of the last County Rate.
And that Mr Hubbald be acquainted that the Court
had received his Letter and had caused the High Constable to be
Summoned to attend on Saturday next in consequence thereof.

Ordered that the Sum of Ten Pounds being the amount
Annual Allowance made to Mr John Martin< no role >
for his attendance

) on His Majestys Justices of the Peace for this County to
paid to him and that the Clerk of the Peace do Issue the usual Order
upon the Treasurer of this County for the payment thereof.
