to audit Accts &
to examine the Accts
of the Exan of Mr
Benson}

Moved that it be referred to the Committee appointed to
"Examine and adjust from time to time the Account or Accounts of the
"Treasurer of this County as well with respect to his receipts as his Expenditures
"and also to Examine and Audit all Demands of what nature or kind soever
"made on this County previous to the Payment thereof" to take and Examine
the Account of the Executor or Legal representative of Mr John Benson< no role > deceased
late Treasurer of this County of all Monies Received and paid by the said
Mr Benson since his last account selted as such Treasurer and receiver
and in case a Balance shall be found due to this County the same is to be
paid over to Mr. Eyles Treasurer pro Tempore whose Receipt together with
this Order shall be a sufficient discharge to the said representative And if
the Ballance shall be found in favour of the Estate of Mr Benson then the said
Mr. Eyles is hereby authorized and required to pay the same to the said
Representative out of the Monies which may come to his hands by virtue
of the said order appointing him Treasurer or Receiver as aforesaid And
that the said Representative do forthwith deliver over to the said Justices
who shall Examine the said Account or to the Clerk of the Peace of the said
County or his Deputy all the Accounts and Vouchers and other Books
Papers and Writings belonging to this County and remaining in his Hands
as Treasurer or receiver as aforesaid at the time of his Decease and the
said Justices are desired to make their Report of the matters aforesaid
on the County day of the next Session. Agreed to

It is Ordered that the above Committee do meet
at this Place on Thursday next at the hour of Twelve precisely.
and that Mr. Eyles as Treasurer do pay all such Sums of Money
as the said Committee shall direct and also all such other Sums of
Money and particularly the Duty on the Indurance of the Session
House now due as ought to be paid by the Treasurer of this
County.
