"It having been represented to this Court that Mr Weaver the late
"of the Tolls of Hay and Straw in Saint James's Haymarket is dead
"It appearing by the Statute of eighth and ninth of William the third
"the appointment of such Collector is vested in the Justices of the Peace
"the County of Middlesex City and Liberty of Westminster

"Resolved that a Conference be had with the Magistrates for the
"of Middlesex to consider of a proper time and place to proceed to the
"of a proper person to Collect the said Tolls

"Resolved that a Committee of Justices of this City and Liberty
"appointed to meet the Justices of the said County for the purpose of
"such conference and agreeing to a time and place for proceeding to
"Election and that the following Gentlemen be of the said Committee

"Wright Esquires and that any five of the abovenamed Magistrates [..]
"Quorum to attend the Quarter Session of the peace for the said County
"Middlesex on Thursday the tenth day of January Instant and [..]
"the above Resolutions into execution

and this Court being also informed that the said Committee of His
Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City and Liberty of Westminster
attending and were desirous of conferring with His Majesty's Justices
the Peace for this County upon the premises; and it being determined
conference thereupon be now held with the said Committee

The Conference being held and ended

Resolved that the present Sessions of the peace be adjourned to P [..]
the fourteenth day of February next to be holden at the Guildhall
King Street Westminster in order to proceed in conjunction with His Majesty's
Justices of the peace for the City and Liberty of Westminster then and there to be assemble [..]
to the nomination and Election of a fit and proper Person to be Collector
the Tolls of the said Hay market
