said Estate which he submits to the Consideration of the Court Now
Therefore it is Ordered by the Court that the consideration of the
Court to the said Boundary Walls be and the same is hereby referred
to the Committee appointed to carry into immediate Execution there pair
of the Prisons and the said Committee are hereby empowered to
accommodate compromise and determine the claim of right in the
said Boundary Wall either by insisting on the claim of the County
therein and prosecuting the same resigning all right on the part of
the County in the said Wall or any part there of or otherwise as to the
said Committee shall seem meet

By adjournment same day

Whereas a plan and Estimate of making the repairations and
alterations necessary to be done at Hicks Hall having been presented
and reported by the Committee to whom the same was referred and
approved by the Court It is Ordered that the said plan and
Estimate be referred back to the Committee with Instructions to
consider of Ways and means to raise a Sum of Money sufficient
to defray the Expence of carrying the same into Execution without the
assistance of Parliament

Whereas Mr. Thomas Rogers< no role > the Surveyor of the repairs now
carrying on at New Prison was at the General Session of the peace
holden for this County in September last ordered to take Mr. Scott
and another Surveyor to his assistance to view the Boundary Walls
of New Prison and who were to report their Opinion thereof And
the said Mr. Rogers having procured the assistance of the said
Mr. Scott and Mr. Palmer another Surveyor who have viewed
the said Walls and reported their Opinion thereof It is now
Ordered by the Court that it be and the same is hereby referred to
the Committee appointed to carry into immediate Execution the
Repair of New Prison and Clerkenwell Bridewell to consider
