By adjournment on Wednesday the 12th. day of September 1750 .

Order for ascertaining
the days for holding the next
Quarter Sessions of the
Peace for Middx at
Hicks hall .}

It is Ordered by this Court that the next General Quarter Sessions
of the Peace for the County of Middx which will begin at Westmr.
on Thursday the eleventh day of October next be from thence
adjourned to Hickshall in St. John Street and be there holden on
Friday the twelfth, Monday the fifteenth Tuesday the Sixteenth,
Wednesday the Seventeenth Thursday the eighteenth and Friday
the Nineteenth days of the Same Month of October to the intent
that there may be Six days at Hickshall for transacting the
Busyness of the Said Sessions, which cannot the continue
longer In regard Saturday the twentyeth day of the Said
October will be the Esseign day of the next Michaelmas Term,
And It is further Ordered that this Order be printed in one of the
publick News Papers that Persons concerned may have Notice
thereof.

By adjournment on Thursday the 13th. day of September 1750.

Chairman of the Court .}

His Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace assembled at this present
General Session of the Peace now holden by adjournment for the
County of Middx Do Continue and Elect Thomas Lane< no role > Esqr.
to be Chairman of the General Quarter and General Session
of the Peace to be holden for the Said County between Michas
One thousand Seven hundred and fifty and Lady day then next
ensuing.

Information being given unto this Court that Some Irregularity
have been Committed by St. Samuel Gower< no role > This name instance is in set 3161. Knt . in relation to
his Office of a Justice of the Peace of this County much beneath
the Character and Reputation which a Magistrate ought to bear
and some of which if continued may be productive of great
Inconvenience and detriment to several of his Majestys Subjects
This Court being of Opinion that the Said Iregularitys
Should be inquired into by a Committee of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace, Doth Order that it be And It is hereby recomended
and referred unto Thomas Lane< no role > , Luke Robinson< no role > John Milner< no role >
Henry Butter< no role > Pacey Henry Norris< no role > , Merry Teshmaker< no role > , Richard
Ricards,
< no role > George Irrington< no role > , Philip Dyet< no role > Boulton Mainwaring< no role >
John Dekewer< no role > , William Withers< no role > , Francis Bedwell< no role > John Lawton< no role >
and Walter Berry< no role > Esquires and Such other Justices of the Peace
of this County as will please to be present or any three or more of
them as a Committee to meet together at Hicks hall in St. John
Street on Wednesday the tenth day of October next at ten of
the Clock in the forenoon, And to examine if any and what
Irregularitys have been committed by the Said St. James Gower
