By adjornment on Thursday the twenty eighth Day of
February 1744.

Order for Mr. Higgs the
Treasurer to pay £53.19s.
to Mr. Richd. Jupp< no role >
Carpenter .}

It appearing to this Court by writing under the hand of Robert
Hucks Esquire one of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace of this
County that the Sum of fifty three Pounds and Nineteen Shillings
is allowed by Order of the Committee (appointed to inspect the
Workmens Bills) unto Richard Jupp< no role > Carpenter and that the
Said Committee do recommend the Said Sum to be paid to him
in full of his Bill for Carpenter's work and repairs done at the
Sessions house called Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the
Said County, It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role >
Treasurer of this County do pay unto the Said Richard Jupp< no role >
the Said Sum of fifty three Pounds and nineteen Shillings
in full of his Said Bill whose Receipt together with this
Order Shall be a Sufficient Discharge to the Said Treasurer
for Such payment.

By adjornment on Thursday the twenty eighth day of
February 1744.

the County Treasurer to
pay £14.4s.3d. to Mr. Edwd.
Ford for gravel work,
labour & repairs done to
Chertsea Bridge.}

This Court upon produceing Certificates under the hands
of Sr. Thomas Reynell< no role > Bart . and Robert Hucks< no role > Esqr . two
of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace of this County that the Sum
of fourteen Pounds four Shillings and three Pence due to Mr.
Edward Ford< no role > upon his Bill being expended and laid out for
Gravel, Work Labour and Repairs done to Chertsea
Bridge by Order of the Said Sr. Thomas Reynell< no role > and Robert
Hinde Esqr . ought to be paid to the Said Edward Ford< no role > , Doth
Order that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County Do
after he Shall have Sufficient Money in his hands pay unto
the Said Edward Ford< no role > the Said Sum of fourteen Pounds four
Shillings and three pence in full of his Said demand, whose
Receipt together with this Order Shall be a Sufficient
Discharge to the said Treasurer for Such payment.
