in the Said County is hereby required at or before the next
General or Quarter Sessions of the peace for this County after
he Shall have received Such Sum or Sums of money to pay
the Same into the hands of John Higgs< no role > of the Inner Temple
London Gent residing in Southampton Buildings in the
Said County of Middx whom this Court doth appoint to be
Treasurer and Receiver of the money to be collected or levyed
by vertue of the Said Rate, the Said John Higgs< no role > having given
Security (to wit) himself in the Sum of five hundred pounds,
together with Thomas Mulso of the parish of St. Ann within
the Liberty of Westminster in the Said County Esquire Anthony
Chamberlain of the parish of St. Andrew Holborn in the Same
County Esquire John Matthews< no role > of the Same parish Gent and
Elijah Impey< no role > of the parish of Saint James with in the Liberty of
Westminster in the Same County Soapmaker as Suretys for him
the Said John Higgs< no role > in the Sum of one hundred & twenty five
pounds a peice by Bond to Thomas Lane< no role > Robert Hucks< no role > John
Stevens and John Elliott< no role > This name instance is in set 3963. Esquires Justices assigned to Keep the
peace in the County of Middx aforesaid (which Sums and
Security are approved of by this Court) that he the Said John
Higgs will be accountable for the Several & respective Sums
of money which Shall be respectively paid to him in
pursuance of the Said Act of Parliament, and to pay Such
Sum or Sums of money as Shall be ordered to paid by the
Justices of the peace for this County in their General or Quarter
Sessions, and for the due & faithfull execution of the trusts
reposed in him as in the Condition of the Said Bond is Specifyed,
And this Court doth Order that the Said John Higgs< no role > be allowed the
Sum of twenty pounds by the year as a Salary for his care
trouble & paines in the execution of the trust reposed in him as
Treasurer , to be paid to him in Such manner as by the Said
Act is directed.
