in his Judgement shall think proper, And the said Treasurer is
hereby directed to give unto Mr. Sollicitor General his Fee for his
[..] trouble and paines therein, And that the said Treasurer
be reimbursed the same out of the moneys to be raised & paid into
his hands by Vertue of the said Rate,

A Presentment having been made unto this Court by the Grand
Jury for the County of Middx sworn & charged at this present session
to inquire for our Lord the King for the Body of the said County that
such part of a publick Bridge called Chertsea Bridge as is in the
same County (which part of the same Bridge hath been heretofore
usually repaired and maintained at the charge of the Inhabitants
of the said County) is very much out of repair, And that it is
Necessary that the aforesaid part of the same Bridge should be
forthwith repaired, It is Ordered by this Court that it be And It is
hereby recomended & referred unto Sr. Thomas Reynell< no role > Bart . & Robert
Hinde Esquire two of his Majestys Justices of the peace for the said
County residing near Chertsea Bridge to View the State & condition of the aforesaid part of Chertsea Bridge which is in the County of
Middx And to cause such necessary repairs to be done thereto (not
exceeding the Sum of Forty pounds as to the Value of the same) as
they shall think proper to be done for Securing thereof untill there
be a Convenient Season for the effectual repair of the aforesaid
part of the said Bridge after sufficient moneys shall be raised
for that purpose & for other purposes by Vertue of the late Act of
Parliament for the more easy Assessing collecting and levying of
County Rates, And it is hereby referred unto the said two Justices
of the peace to employ some Able Workman or Workmen to do such
necessary repairs as aforesaid not exceeding the Value aforesaid
to the aforesaid part of the said Bridge in a good & Workman like
manner And the said two Justices after the doing & performing
such necessary repairs are desired to Certify to the Court ofthe
Session of the peace for this County what sum or sums of money
is or are due to the Workman or Workmen for doing the same not
exceeding in the whole the Value aforesaid which are to be paid
to such Workman or Workmen out of the moneys to be reced
by Vertue of a Rate made at this present Sessions for raising
the Sum of Eight hundred pounds for the purposes mentioned
in the said Act of Parliament.
