Constables in
Finsbury
Division to attend
the Court at Hickshall
for non payment of
Moneys for Mained
Soldiers & Mariners

Complaint being made unto this Court by William
Fletcher Gentleman high Constable of Finsbury
Division in this County That the Constables of the
Severall Parishes and Places here under mentioned
being within the Same Division (though a Precept
hath been in this behalfe delivered unto them)
have not Yet paid unto him Said William Fletcher< no role >
the Severall Sumes of Money Assessed upon their said
respective Parishes and Places by the Court of Generall
Quarter Sessions of the Peace holden for this County
in April One thousand Seven hundred and twenty Seven
for Reliefe of Maimed Soldiers and Mariners
which Sumes, Parishes and Places are [..]
hereafter mentioned(Vizt.)

The Parish of St. Giles without Cripplegate £2. 3s. 4d
The Parish of St. Sepulchre £2. 3s. 4d
The Parish of St. James Clerkenwell £2. 3s. 4d
The Parish of Stoke Newington £1. 6s. 0d
The Parish of Hornsey £1. 6s. 0d
The Parish of Tryan Barnett £1. 6s. 0d

It is Ordered by this Court that the Constables
of the Severall Parishes and Places aforesaid
Doe attend this Court on Friday next at three
of the Clock in the afternoon to Answer for their
Neglect and Contempt in not paying the said
respective Sumes of Money to the said High
Constable which they ought to have long Since
raised and paid unto him that he might
have been able to have paid over the
Same to the Treasurer appointed to [..]
receive the Same,
