County Assembled on this one and thirtieth day of
January 1722 at Hicks Hall in order to sign a
Representation to his Grace the Duke of Newcastle Lord
Lieutenant of the said County touching the raising
and management of Trophy Money in the same
County.

Subsequent Order
made on the 26th.
of April 1723

Whereas Notice hath been given to the Gentlemen in the [..]
Comission of the peace for this County, that reside in and about
the Citys of London and Westmr, to meet at Hicks Hall on this present
Thursday the one and thirtieth day of January in Order to sign the
Representation to be presented to his Grace the said Duke of Newcastle
touching the raising and management of the Trophy Money in
the said County and altho' about fifty Gentlemen were Sumoned to
appear here Yet by reason of the short notice given there did not
Representation of so great Moment It is therefore the opinion
of the said Justices who do appear on the said Sumons and it is
hereby directed that all his Maties. Justices of the peace for this
County be summoned to appear at Hicks Hall on Friday the two
and twentieth day of February next being the Adjournment day
of the Quarter Sessions at ten of the clock in the forenoon to sign the
said Representation in order to the presenting of it in a proper and
fitting manner to his Grace the said Lord Lieutenant, [..]
And it is thought fit that in the mean time true Coppys of the said
Representation and the Report whereon the same was grounded
be delivered to the Clerk of the Lieutenancy to be laid before the
Board of Lieutenancy that they may have an opportunity to make
such observations on the same as they shall think fitting or proper
to communicate to his Maties Justices to be Assembled on the said
Adjournment of the Quarter Sessions.
