Whereas by Order made at the last General Quarter Sessions of the
peace holden for this County on Monday the second day of July last
It was recommended and referred unto Sr. Edward Lawrence< no role > , Sr.
Thomas Hewett< no role > , Sr . John Gonson< no role > , Sr. Daniel Dolins< no role > , Sr. Isaac Tillard< no role >
Knts . Martin Ryder< no role > , William Wickham< no role > , William Cowper, Leonard< no role >
Streate, William Cotesworth< no role > , Thomas Milner< no role > , Samuel Ryder< no role > , John
Mercer , Nathaniel Blackerby< no role > , Thomas Jeff< no role > , William Kingsford< no role > and
George Walter< no role > Esqrs Justices of the peace for this County or any three
of them a Committee to meet at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in
this County on Tuesday the third day of the same Month of July
at ten of the clock in the foreenoon and such other times as
they should think fit to examine and state the accompts of the Trophy
money last raised levyed or Collected in this County for any
proceeding year, And to certify such examination of the said
accompts under their hands upon the Inquiry by them made of
what Sumes have been raised and how disposed off, when perfected,
And Whereas the said Samuel Ryder< no role > , Sr Daniel Dolius< no role > , Leonard
Streate, William Coteswoth, William Cowper< no role > , Sr . John Gonson< no role > ,
George Walter< no role > , William Wickham< no role > , Martin Ryder< no role > , John Mercer< no role > and
William Kingsford< no role > Committees in the said Order named have
made their Report to this Court in writing bearing date the first
day of November 1722 in the words following (vizt.)

To his Maties. Justices of the peace for
the County of Middx in General Quarter
Session assembled.

The Report of the Committee in the annexed Order of
Sessions named.

Your Committee humbly represent that they did meet on the
day in the said Order mentioned and several times since in order to
have perfected their enquiry with all imaginable expedition
untill by reason of the indisposition of one of their number who
by his constant attendance had rendred himself most capable
of informing the Court of their proceedings they found it
necessary to adjourn their meetings till he should be able to
attend them again. But in regard by an Act made in the twelfth
year of the Reign of Queen Anne and other precedent Acts
No trophy Money can be raised untill the Accounts of the last
