and at his<lb></lb>
own Charge defraying the Expences of such Dinners,<lb></lb>
paying Servants Wages and Provideing Linnen and<lb></lb>
other accomodations, the said Geary also alledging<lb></lb>
that he hath not only performed the said Contract<lb></lb>
but hath paid severall considerable Sumes of<lb></lb>
Money for Law Charges on Mrs. Seymours accompt<lb></lb>
in getting her possession of the Cryers Place and<lb></lb>
on other Accompts, to which Comittee of Justices<lb></lb>
It was also by the said Order referred to Report<lb></lb>
the truth of the Premisses unto this Court Together<lb></lb>
with their Opinions therein, And if they found the<lb></lb>
said Geary aggrieved, in what manner he ought<lb></lb>
to be redressed) The said Comittee of Justices have<lb></lb>
by their said Report (inter al) certifyed unto<lb></lb>
this Court that they convened before them the<lb></lb>
said Geary and Mrs. Seymour, and haveing perused<lb></lb>
and considered the written Agreement therein<lb></lb>
mentioned made between them on the Fifth day<lb></lb>
of January 1715 Did observe that the same was<lb></lb>
not, as alledged by the said Geary, to Continue for<lb></lb>
so long a time as the said Mrs. Seymour should<lb></lb>
enjoy the Office of Cryer and House keeper but<lb></lb>
expressly so long as both Parties Should agree,<lb></lb>
And that at or soon after the expiration of the first<lb></lb>
Year after the makeing thereof Mrs. Seymour did<lb></lb>
depart from the same and demanded other Terms<lb></lb>
and a greater Rent (to witt) One hundred pounds<lb></lb>
per Annum of the said Geary which he Complyed<lb></lb>
with (by his Wife who, it appeared, Usually transacted<lb></lb>
those Affairs for him) and the said new paroll<lb></lb>
Agreement was Executed on both parts for that<lb></lb>
Year, and the like hath been renewed & executed</p>
