Upon reading the humble Petition of <rs type="persName" id="LMSMGO40001_n5-1">Francis Geary</rs>

Exhibited unto this Court Setting forth that the Petitioners<lb></lb>
Some Years pass agreed with Mrs. Seymour to have the Fees<lb></lb>
of the Court at Hicks hall the benefit a accrewing by Licences<lb></lb>
renewed and all other Advantages belonging to the Cryer<lb></lb>
and House keeper there for so long a time as the said<lb></lb>
Mrs. Seymour Should enjoy the same on Condition<lb></lb>
the Petitioner paid her Forty Pounds in hand and Forty<lb></lb>
pounds more at the expiration of the Year in the whole<lb></lb>
Eighty pounds per Annum And the Petitioner was also<lb></lb>
to pay the said Mr: Seymore one Guinea every<lb></lb>
Sessions for her Assistance in provideing Dinner for<lb></lb>
his Majestys Justices of the Peace at Hicks Hall the<lb></lb>
Petitioners house being then remote and the Petitioner<lb></lb>
was further, at his own Charge to defray the Expences<lb></lb>
of such Dinners and to pay Servants Wages and<lb></lb>
provide Linnen and other accomodations That the<lb></lb>
Petitioner hath not only performed the aforesaid<lb></lb>
Contract but hath paid severall Considerable<lb></lb>
Sumes of Money for Law charges on Mrs. Seymours<lb></lb>
account in getting her possession and on other accounts<lb></lb>
which the Petitioner is ready to make appear, that<lb></lb>
notwithstanding Mrs. Seymours is disatisfyed and<lb></lb>
demands of the Petitioner One Hundred and Ten<lb></lb>
Pounds per Annum Rent which he by no means<lb></lb>
can pay And therefore humbly recommend his Case<lb></lb>
to the Consideration of his Majestys Justices of the<lb></lb>
Peace of this County and humbly hopes under the<lb></lb>
Agreement aforesaid and well behaving himself<lb></lb>
towards his said Majestys Justices of the Peace he<lb></lb>
may be still Continued in his Place And upon<lb></lb>
Consideration had by this Court of the Petitioners<lb></lb>
Complaint and of the Inconveniencies which may<lb></lb>
arise from any Extravagant Demand or Payment<lb></lb>
out of the Profitts of the said Offices of Cryer and<lb></lb>
House keeper Itt is Ordered that it be and it is<lb></lb>
hereby recommended and referred unto William</p>
