Judgments think proper to be paid either by the aforesaid
places in the said Tower Liberty
or the residue of
the Tower
Division for making good the deficiencys
(of the moneys assessed as aforesaid) mentioned in
the said Mr. Wosters accompt, And to certify their
Opinions in Writing touching the Premisses unto
his Majestys Justices of the Peace at their Generall
Quarter or Generall Sessions of the peace to be
holden for this County to the end such further

Complaint being made unto this Court that

his Majestys Justices of the peace
for this County did
during the time the said Mr. Hilton continued in his
said Office of a Justice of Peace of the said County
receive divers considerable Sumes of money of
several Persons convicted before the said Mr. Hilton
for prophanely Swearing or cursing exerciseing
their Trades or Employments on the Lords-day
for Selling Beer or Sale in Short or unsealed
measures or without License, for setting buttons on
Cloaths made of the same Cloath or Stuff the Cloaths
were made of, for Selling Goods as Hawker's and
Pedlers without due Licenses, and for several others
offences by vertue of the Laws in such cases made
and provided, And that the Offences for which such
Persons were convicted as aforesaid being comitted
within the parish of St. Giles in the Fields
in this
County divers considerable Sumes of money became
thereupon forfeited and payable to the Use of the
