Sixteen Years and for the last ten Years her said Husband<lb></lb>
hath so much addicted himself to Idleness and Drunkenness, that upon in Liquor he<lb></lb>
behaves like a Bradman, stamping, rosing sevearing and threatening to blow up all the<lb></lb>
bloody Neighbourhood of Creed Lane and Holiday Yard, whereby many and frequent<lb></lb>
Alarms and Disturbances have been created in the said Neighbourhood, and the Life of her<lb></lb>
this Examinant often times endangered.</p>
<p n="1404">Item-This Examinant Further saith, that her said Husband hath very often<lb></lb>

her with Knives, Forks and other Dangerous Instruments, threatening to murder<lb></lb>
this Examinant and at the same time Declaring "he never should red till he did bloody Murder"<lb></lb>
and Examinant to save her Life was obliged to run away out of the House.</p>
<p n="1405">Item-This Examinant Further saith that her said Husband for such Correct and<lb></lb>

against the publick Peace hath been six or seven times committed to<lb></lb>
Prison by the Magistrates of this City For want of Sureties on the Oath of her this<lb></lb>
Examinant and particularly about a Month ago For assaulting her with a large Fork<lb></lb>
and threatening to run it in the bloody Grits of her this Examinant, and also holding part<lb></lb>
of a marble Slab, said. "blast you, you Bitch I'll there this at your Bloody Brains"</p>
<p n="1406">Item-This Examinant Further saith, that she hath frequently forgiven her said Husband<lb></lb>
and released him out of Prison and once before exhibited Articles of the Peace against him, but,<lb></lb>
although he promised he hath not amended, and she doth not prefer these Articles from<lb></lb>
any other Motive, than that of regard for her personal Safety, thinking he will one day murder<lb></lb>
her if he is not confined.</p>
