says the deced told him to had bled much some times<lb></lb>
before on which Dept. asked him what occasioned it, on<lb></lb>
which he told Dept. that he had lead upon a peice of<lb></lb>
orange Peel and full upon his Nose and them by<obscured></obscured>

his Nose and Cheek, that thereupon Dept. applied a little<lb></lb>

out together from the Dwelling House of the deced and<lb></lb>
Dept. was also present there when the deced returned home<lb></lb>
in the Evening of the same which was about 8 or 9<lb></lb>
o'Clock as Dept. believes out is not certain as to the time that the deced then appeared<lb></lb>
to have been very much<del>beat</del>
bruised his face being<lb></lb>
very black and bloody, that Dept. asked him where he had<lb></lb>
been to which he answered that he had been at the King's<lb></lb>
Arms Tavern in Cornhill with Banger and that he and<lb></lb>
Banger had been fighting there together, and that Berger had<lb></lb>
there produced two Pistols and desired<gap reason="illegible"></gap>

one of them, but that the deced referred, on which Banger<lb></lb>
gave the deced abusive language and threatned to came<lb></lb>
