and Saith that he this Deponent and Sarah Taylor and<lb></lb>
Susanna Stace in and about the Middle of March last<lb></lb>
and enter into a Recognizance to our Sovereign Lord the King<lb></lb>
before the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor of London for<lb></lb>

for Begamy And this Deponent further saith that he<lb></lb>
this Deponent and the said Sarah Taylor and Susanna<lb></lb>
Stace at the Sessions of Oyer and Terminer and Goal delivery<lb></lb>
at the Old Bayley next following their entering into the said<lb></lb>
Recognizance were Ready and meant and intended to<lb></lb>
Prosecute the said Sarah Dean otherwise Coxall otherwise Stokes<lb></lb>
and to prefer a Bill of Indictment against her for the said offence<lb></lb>
and that this Deponent had an Indictment prepared and<lb></lb>
Engrossed on Parchment for that purpose and that the said<lb></lb>
Susanna Stace who Resides in the County did then come up to<lb></lb>
London for that purpose And this deponent further says that<lb></lb>
on Saturday the <rs type="date" id="LMSLPS15087_date43">Twentieth day of April last</rs>
<interp inst="LMSLPS15087_date43" type="date" value="17760420"></interp>
being a day on which<lb></lb>
the said Sessions were holding at the old Bailey this Deponent<lb></lb>
applied to one of the officers or door keepers at the old Bailey<lb></lb>
and enquired for the Grand Jury for London and was then<lb></lb>
told by the said officers or door keep of that the said Jury was up<lb></lb>
in Consequence of which Information this Deponent conceiving<lb></lb>
that the Grand Jury was interely discharged for that Sessions did<lb></lb>
not nor did either of them the said Sarah Taylor or Susanna Stace<lb></lb>
prefer any Indictment at that Sessions And this Deponent<lb></lb>
further says that he hath since found that this Deponent<lb></lb>
misunderstood the said officer or Door keeper and that he only<lb></lb>
meant the Grand Jury was up for that day and not for the Session</p>
