At the time and Place appointed by our Summons on the within
Written Information, that is to say this eighth Day of February
in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and ninty at Hammersmith
in the County of Middlesex the Defendant appeareth and Pleadeth that he
is not guilty of the within mentioned Offence, but the Foot being duly Proved
to our Satisfaction, We do Convict him there of It is therefore now here
Considered and adjudged by as the said Justices that the said Defendant
hath for feited the Sum of Sixty seven Pounds which we order to be
distributed as the Law directs;

Given under our Hands and Seals at Hammersmith
this Eighth Day of February 1790

and the upper afterwards to wit on the 8th. day of February in the

thence of Joseph Richwith< no role > at the Sign of the Bell and anchor beings
on Inn or Public house at Hammersmith in the said County of
Middx the said Abraham Ayton< no role > having been Previously duly
Summonce in Pursuance of our and Summons paid for that Purpose
now her appear before us the said Justices and her Proper
Person and having Paid heard the said Information read over
to the said Abraham Ayton is at the by in the Said Justices for the
defence to the Premises Whereupon he dances the Matters the Cont
in the said Informt and Says that he in not guilty of the Same as of any
part thereof Whereupon an the same day and year last
at the hour of the said Joseph Ruchworth< no role > at Hammersmith
aforesaid in the County aforesaid me the said Justices at
now have Proceed to examine into the Matters of Fact
Canloaned in the said Information and there upon Ingram
Horn
< no role > and William Goodrick< no role > Officers of Excise two Ordered
Witness in this behalf an the Part at the said Informant
now
