The Information of Thomas Nelson< no role >
Servant to John Noble< no role > of Tavistock Street Covent
Garden Mercer , and Catharine Turner< no role >
Servant at the same place taken on Oath
before me this 26th. day of August 1789

Who being on Oath severally say and first the said
Thomas Nelson< no role > for himself says that this Afternoon the prisoner
now present who calls herself Jane Maloy came into Mr Nobles
Shop with two other woman and desired to look at some
Linnen which he shewed them amongst which were the Sixteen
Yards now produced, that during this time a man came into
the Shop and looked at something in the window and upon
this Informants turning round to speak to said man he beleives
the Sixteen Yards of Linnen was Stolen from the Compter , that
after this the said Jane Maloy< no role > and her Companions went away
and when they had got into the Street Informant followed
them and brought said Jane Maloy back which she dropped
the said Sixteen Yards of Linnen from under her Petty coat
And the said Catharine Turner< no role > for herself says that upon
said Jane Maloy< no role > being brought back into the Shop She saw
her drop the said Sixteen Yards of Linnen from under her
Petty coat.
