Attorneys of his Majesties Court of Kings Bench at Westminster
Maketh
oath and saith that he is employed by the abovenamed Thomas Geary< no role >
as his Solicitor in the above prosecution against Thomas Lake< no role >
and
Thomas Hughes< no role >
that he hath been informed and verily believes such
information to be true that on or about the night of the fourth day
of March last the said Thomas Gerry lost one sow pig, one barrow
pig, and five other pigs, his property and the property of his Father
Daniel Geary< no role >
and that the said Saw and Pigs were found in the Count
of Middlesex
that the said Thomas Geary< no role >
by his Addition of
Thomas

Askley Green in the parish of Chesham
in the County of
Bucks Farmer also John Berry< no role >
of Edgware in the County of Middlesex
Butcher
and Henry Worster< no role >
of Barnet in the said County of Middlesex
Severally became bound in Recognizance of Forty Pounds each to
appear prosecute and give Evidence against the said Thomas Lake< no role >
and
Thomas Hughes< no role >
at these present Session that accordingly the said
Thomas Geary< no role >
John Berry< no role >
and Henry Worster< no role >
did attend at Hicks's Hall
on the first day of this instant April in order to have preferred
a Bill of Indictment against the said Defendants Thomas Lake< no role >
and
Thomas Hughes< no role >
Agreeable to their said Recognizance but were
informed by Mr. Johnson who acts as one of the Clerks of Indictments
for the said County of Middlesex
that the said Thomas Lake< no role >
and
Thomas Hughes< no role >
could not be prosecuted with any effect in the said
County of Middlesex
and that the [..] parties could prosecute the
Law with effect only in the County of Hertford or in the County of
Bucks where the offence was committed And this Deponent further
maketh Oath and saith that the said Thomas Geary< no role >

together with the said Daniel Geary< no role >
pursuant to such
advice and information have entered into a Recognizance in the Sum
