The Information of Francis Harker< no role >
taker before me George Reed< no role > Esquire
one of this Majesty's Justice of the
Peace for the sd. County, City Libertys
this 14th Day of July 1787

Who being duly sworn upon his bath sayeth
thatabout 12 oClock last Nighthe is a Taylor
in Jermain Street in the Parish of Saint
James Westr . that about twelve o'Clock last
Night he was going up Market Lane in the
said Parish in his way home, at which
time he is [..] time and certain he had
Seven Guineas in Gold which he had put
in his Wa [..] at Pocket for Safety, that
in going up the sd. Lane he was followed
by a Woman now present, who calls herself
Eleanor Mix< no role > , who accosted this Informant
and with whom he Stopp'd and convers'd
when some Familiarsties passed between
them, and this Informant further sayeth
that a very little while before the said
Woman came up to him he had felt that
the said Money was in his Waistcoat Pocket
that during the Familiarsties which passed
between them he thought of his Money and
that she might [..] him, when he put his
Hand in his Waistcoat Pocket and found
Four of the said Seven Guineas were gone
upon which he immediately called the Watch
and gave Charge of the Woman who was taken
to the Watchhouse where this Informant
believes
