Haples< no role > Esqr one of this Majesty's Justices of the
Peace in and for the sail County Against Mary
Hawkins< no role > Charged with Felony

John Benner< no role > of Goulston Street White Chapel [..]
Hackney Esachman being upon his Oath saith
That between Seven and Eight oClock this Morning
he left the two Coatsnow produced on the Settle in the Tap
and spread Eagle in White Chapel High Street that about eight
o'Clock being then Sitting in the said Tap room
he was called by the Landlord and Informed
that woman had got his Coats and was going
off with the same That he [..] this
Informant and the said Land Lord followed
the said Woman into the Street and Stopped
her with the said Coats under her Cloak

Sworn before me the day and year first

John Lee< no role > of White Chapel High Street Victualler
being upon his Oath saith that he saw the Woman
now present who says her name is Sarah
Hawkins< no role > in his Tap Room that she had one penny
worth of Beer and Drank the same That as
the was young out he saw the said Sarah
Hawkins< no role > take the two Coats now produced from
off the settle and put them under her Cleak and
go out of the Street door with the same That he
[..] called John Bonner< no role > the owner of the
said Coats. followed her into the Street and Stopped
her with the same under her Cloak as aforesaid
