The Information of Richard
Mash

one of his Majesty's Justices
of the peace for the said
County

Who being upon Oath Saith
That betwixt the hours of two and
three of the Clock this morning he
met with the person now present
who calls herself Charlette Ray< no role > in
the Strand betwixt Somerset house
and Temple Barr , that she took him
to a house in Great Shire Lane in
the parish of Saint Clements Dane
that he an buttoned the Flap of his
Breeches and lay down upon a
Bed in the said house with her
for a few Minutes, that soon after
they left this house, he put his
hand in his Breeches pocket and found
missing one half guinea in gold and
two Shillings in Silver, that this
Informant Positively says that at
the time he lay on the bed with
the said Charletle Ray he had in
his right hand Breeches pocket
one half guinea in gold and eight
Shillings in Silver, that he did not
