the cry of "Stop Thief" and seeing three Men running
across said Field he pursued them and apprehend
said Ellison who was one of themThe said

Paddington Road at this time and heard [..] the cry
of "Stop Theif" That he saw three Men running
away from behind said Mr. Shepherds house and
pursued themThat one of the suspected from
the rest andhe apprehended said Wilson and Rayner and
the third ran towards Hyde Park WallAnd the said
Anthony Knowles< no role > says that he was in his [..] Garden at
about half a Mill from said Mr. Shepherds Garden
at this time and heard the cry of Stop ThiefThat he
saw William Deal< no role > now present running from Paddington
Green towards him and that he apprehended him
And further saith that he found six of the said Shirts
in a Cart House belonging to Mr. Ward at Paddington
Green
