Who being upon Oath say and first the said Christopher Bradgin< no role >
saith that on Tuesday the 4th. day of April instant he was at the
Feathers
Ale house in Feather stone Street
for the greatest Part of
the day-that about 4 o'Clock in the afternoon a Person now Present
who calls himself Patrick Duffey< no role >
came in with two other Men
and called for a Pot of Beer in whose Company this Informant
joined-that said two Men staid about three Quarters of an Hour
and then went away leaving Duffey there-That Duffey and this
Informant [..] mained drinking there till between 8 and 9 o' Clock at
which time they went away together Duffey saying that "he would see
him across the Fields- that at the Entrance of Moor fields

having hold of this Informant Arm of a Man Followed them, Pushed
this Informant violently against Duffey who tripped up this
Informants Heels and he fell as did Duffey also-That Duffey
attempted to Keep him down, and the Man attempted to Pull his
Watch out-That by Struggling this Informant disengaged himself
from Duffey and got up and said to the man, yon shall not
have it " Meaning his Watch": When she Man Presented a Pistol
to his Head and said " By the HOly Ghost I'll blow your brains
out " this Informant replied " Blow away" for you shall not
have it, when said Man Street him on the Check with a Pistol
