The Informations of Richard Holmes< no role > the
Elder of Kentish Town Farmer Richard Holmes< no role >
the Younger his Son Edward Hughes< no role > Servant to
the said RIchard Holmes< no role > the Elder and Peter
Tankyns
< no role > of Kentish Town Victualler taken before
me this 16th. day of December 1786

who being on Oath severally say and first the said
Richard Holmes< no role > the Elder for himself saith that
the two Turkeys now produced are his Property
and were feloniously stolen from his Turkey House
last Night And the said Richard Holmes< no role > the
Younger for himself saith that between the Hours
of eight and Nine o'Clock last Night he was asked
by his Fathers Maid Servant whether the Fowls
were put up as she had heard a Flulloring in the
yard That in consequence of that enquiry he and his
Father went out of the House and went into the
Turkey House in which he had Shut up the Turkeys
in the beginning of the Evening That he found the
Door unlock'd and missed two Turkeys and hearing
the Yard Door shut this Informant went and
called Edward Hughes< no role > now present That this
Informant his Father and said Hughes then went
down the Field and a little Dog them That the
Dog ran before them and when they came to dump
of Bricks at about 40 Rods distance from the
said Gate the Dog bark'd That upon their coming
up to the said Bricks he saw the Person now
Present who calls himself William East< no role > standing
and the Baskett containing the said two Turkeys
laying by him That upon their [..] going
towards said East he attempted to run away but
they secured him and the said Edward Hughes< no role >
for himself saith that he went with his said Master
Holmes and assisted in securing the said East
And the said Peter Tomkyns< no role > for himself saith
