The Information of Martha Johnson< no role > and
William Cox< no role > taken on Oath the seventh day of
September 1784 before me one of his Majesty Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middlesex

This Informant Martha Johnson< no role > on her Oath saith that
on the Thirty first day of August last [..] about Eight OClock
in the Evening there was feloniously Stolen from her Appartments
in Wood street in the Parish of Saint Mathew Bethnal Green
in the County of Middlesex a Quantity of Yellow Bengall
Raw skilk on Eighteen Robbins the property of George
Court auld a Master Silk Thorwster And that [..]
Eighteen Robbins with silk on them now produced by
George Brown< no role > a Head borough of Bethnal Green aforesaid
is the same that was Stolen from her Appartments as
aforesaid

This Informant William Cox< no role > on his Oath Saith that
on the Thirty First day of August last about Eight o'Clock in
the Evening he then being in a field called Hare street field
in the said Parish of Saint Mathew Bethnal Green he heard
the call of Stepp thief [..] he ran towards the place
and there saw Samuel Richards< no role > the Prisoner now under
Examination Running along in the same Field and
saw him throw away a Sindle now produced by
George Brown< no role > a Peace Officer And this Informant
Saith he immediately Ran up to him and took him
and delivered him to the above mentioned George
