John Ma Gill< no role > of Green Street in the County of Middlesex [..]
Schoolmaster Maketh oath and Saith that he this Deponent
was bound over to prosecute Ann Searea< no role > for dealing
from him Six yards of Muslin. That he accordingly prefer [..]
the Bill of Indictment and attended the Session he [..]
nine of the Clock in the morning to give ardenic on
the Trial, but Frances Bagol one of the Witnesses being
absent this Deponent went in search of her thinking
that as no List of Prisoners had been just up the
Court had not entered on business. That on his return
about half an hour afterwards he was informed the
Prisoner had been acquitted. And this Deponent further
Saith that he was extremely anxious to bring the
Prisoner to Justice having suffered three times within the last month by
Thefts of a Similar nature with that charged against th [..]
Prisoner and did not absent himself with a view to p [..]
the Prisoner or on any other Account than as abovementioned
And this Deponent farther saith that he has a Wife and
Six Infant children and is unable to pay the penalty
of the forfeiture of his Recognizance.
