they met with a Boy carrying a paper Parcel That
said Lowley entir'd into Conversation with said Boy
and soon after left said Boy and came to this
Informt. who kept at a small Distance and told
him that said Boy was carrying said Parcel to the
Plough in Princes Street to go into the Country by
a Stage which puts up at that Inn. That said
Lowley told this Informt. to go to the Boy and
till him that you are waiting for that Parcel
and that he must go back for some Tapes with
all possible hast. That this Informt. placed him-
-self near the Door of said Inn and by Means of
the Instructions he had received from said Lowley
he obtained from said Boy the said Paper Parcel
That said Lowley soon after join'd this Informt.
and they went together to a Public House in Rupert
Street with intent to examine said Parcel but there
being a good deal of Company they did not open it
but discover'd by feeling it that it contained straw
& Chip Hats, That they there went with said Parcel
to said Lowley's House at No. 8 in Cumberland
Court where they opened said Parcel and found that
it contained 12 large and 6 small Hats, That by
a Bill [..] which was also with the Hats it
appeared that a quantity of Persian was sent in
the said Parcel, and which this Informant verily
believes said Lowley contrived to take away and
conceal from him. That said Lowely & this Informt.
divided said Hats equally between them, each having
Nine Hats for his Share, and that the Hats now
produced
