The Informant of Mary Conner< no role > Mary Rogers< no role >
and John Revel< no role > taken before us this 8th. day
of August 1782

Who being upon Oath say and first the said Mary Conner< no role > for
herself says that on Sunday Night last about eleven o'Clock this Informant
and Mary Rogers< no role > and Catherine Haley< no role > now present and also this Informants
Sister Jane Joyce< no role > were all in the said Jane Joyce< no role > 's Room is a house in
White Lion Court near the Seven Dials , that this Informant pulled out
a Guinea and some halfpence not of her Pocket and her Child taking
the same out of her hand laid the said Guinea on the Table, that the
said Catherine Haley< no role > took up the said Guinea and also took down a
Bed Gown of this Informant's from off a Line where it was hanging
and went down Stairs with them, that this Informant and the
other Persons with her not then thinking that the said Catherine
Haley meant to steal the said Guinea and Bed Gown did not
stop her nor immediately pursue her but the next Morning early this
Informant and the said Mary Rogers< no role > went in Search of her and
found her at the Black Dog Public house in Shoreditch , that the
said Catherine Haley then had on the Said Bed Gown and also said
that she had taken a Cloak out of Pawn with part of this Informant's
Money, that the said Catherine Haley< no role > came with this Informant
and the said Mary Rogers< no role > to Buckle Street where she made her
Escape from them but they afterwards retook her, And the
said Mary Rogers< no role > for herself says that on Sunday Night last
at the said Jane Joyce< no role > 's Room as above mentioned she saw the
said Mary Connor< no role > 's Guinea upon the Table as above mentioned
and that she saw the said Catherine Haley take away [..]
