Mr. Smiths in Bunhill Row
as a Servant
on a
Monday Evening about a quarter past Seven oClock
he went up Stairs to the Street Door of his Masters
House upon some person ringing when he saw a Man
whom he verily believes to be the person now present
who calls himself Peter Vanier< no role >
who asked if Molly
was at home this Informant called the other Informt
Mary Delf< no role >
up to him and then went down Stairs
this Informant saith that she said person was dressed
in a White Lappeled Waistcoat a Green or blue Coat
& a brown Coloured Great Coat says that from the
dress of the said Peter Vaniere< no role >
now present he believes
him to be the same Man who tung at the Door of his
Masters House as above mentioned
And this Informant Mary Delf for herself saith
that she is a Servant
& lives with the other Informt
John James Smith< no role >
says that she remembers on
a Monday Night the begining of December last James
Miller< no role >
her fellow Servant called her up out of the [..] him
and say'd some person wanted to speak with her when
she came into the passage
and saw a Man Genteet [..]
dressed whom from the Size & face she verily believes to be
the person now present called Peter Varrier
and the
said Man asked her if she know Mr.. Jones of
Chariny Cross
upon her saying she did not he answered
if she had, he had a Message for her this Informant
then told him she believed he was come to the wrong
House as there was another Mr Smith in the Street
& recollecting her fellow save whose Name is also Molley
had an Acquaintance named [..] Jones turned to go down Stairs
to call her which this Informant did but before this
Informant [..] could return into the passage
from
the Kitchin Stairs [..] a B [..] was Stolen out
