Road to the House of one William Pritchard< no role > who keeps an
old iron Shop there, opposite Whitechapel Workhouse .
That the time when they came to Pritchards House was
about half an Hour after seven o'Clock and the Shop
was then street up. That they knocked at the Shop Door
and Pritchard came into the Shop and there Freeman said
to Pritchard We have brought you a Bit of Old Stuff,
and that then Pritchard [..] received the Lead of this
Examinant and Freeman, weighed it and paid them for the
same three Shillings and three pence, at the rate of one
Penny per pound, whereupon they came away and
divided the Money between them. That on the next
day which was Tuesday the fourthfifthInstant they went to
their Work again at the said House and in the Evening
of that day about seven o'Clock after they had left of
Work this Examinant and the said Joseph Freeman< no role >
stole some more of the said Lead out of the Wash house
of the said Mr. Cranch's House where it had been pict
that Day, which weighed about eighteen Pounds, That
the said Joseph Freeman< no role > carried the same, this Informant
going with him to [..] Pritchards said House in
Whitechapel Road aforesaid where this Examinant and
the said Freeman sold the same to the said Pritchard
for eighteen Pence which money Freeman and this
Examinant shared [..] between them And further
saith that he verily believes and suspect that the said
William Pritchard< no role > bought and received the said Lead
