<p n="75">Informant at the Bank & paid him £30 in part of<lb></lb>
the Money for which she aforesaid Dyett<del>Notes</del>
were given That<lb></lb>
on the Twenty first of October last the said Lyon Elean<lb></lb>
came to this Informant and told him that the other<gap reason="illegible"></gap>

were of too long a Date and that he had destroyed them<lb></lb>
& this Informant being satisfied that what the and<lb></lb>
Elean had alledged was true he gave him two other Drafts<del>Notes</del>

the one for One hundred Pounds and the Other for Fifty<lb></lb>
That on the thirty first of the same Month of October the<lb></lb>
said <rs type="persName" id="LMOBPS45023_n75-1">Lyon Elean</rs>

came again to this Informant and<lb></lb>
told him that he could not get the two lastmentioned<lb></lb>
Draft<del>Notes</del>
discounted unless this Informant would give him<lb></lb>
receipts for the said Sum to shew that he did business<lb></lb>
for them (meaning this Informant & his Parteres). upon<lb></lb>
which this Informant gave the two receipts now<lb></lb>
produced the one dated the 31st. of October & the other<lb></lb>
the first of November 1774 for the said Sum of One<lb></lb>
hundred & Fifty pounds and desired although the receipts<lb></lb>
were given the same Day that they might be dated of<lb></lb>
different Dates That the beginning of November the said<lb></lb>
Elean came again & brought to this Informant a thirty<lb></lb>
Pound Bank Note which thirty Pounds & the other £30<lb></lb>
was all the Money he ever received from the said Elean<lb></lb>
and<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
in the first thirty pounds there were Six light<lb></lb>
Guineas which this Informant returned to the said Elean<lb></lb>
which<del>this Informant</del>
he has never since received<gap reason="illegible"></gap>

this Informant further saith that the two<lb></lb>
lastmentioned Drafts are not accepted by him & he hath<lb></lb>
refused to accept them & that the same are now Outstanding<lb></lb>
and saith that the Note for One hundred & Sixty four<lb></lb>
Pounds and the other for Twenty Pounds which the<lb></lb>
said Lyon Elean had Averred to be destroyed & in View of<lb></lb>
which the two other Notes were given have been presented<lb></lb>
to him for payment & this Informant paid the £20<lb></lb>
Drafts<del>Notes</del>
rather than be Arrested but the Drafts for £164<lb></lb>
is still outstanding this Informant further saith that<lb></lb>
an Account able receipt<del>is the Woods</del>
now produced in the<lb></lb>
