Saith that he this Informt. with Jacob Bucker< no role > & Robert Matson< no role >
Stop'd a Gentleman near St. Agnus Le Clear Shoreditch who
Escaped being Rob'd by making an Alarm. Saith he thought
not to go out any more that way, When he this Informant
went to one John Wood< no role > WebbWood who told him that he had better
go along with him upon the River of a Night for that was
safer for him, that he this Informt. went for about a fortnight
along with John Wood and William Evans< no role > that they Stole
a largeShipsCable out of a Ship and a lighters Cable and several Head fasts
and fenders part of which they sold to Isabella Doey in
Swan Ally Eastsmithfield & another part they Soldto
at an Old Iron Shop in Eastsmithfield, Saith that he found
going upon the River would not answer his purpose, that
he then went to one Frances Thompson< no role > who lives in Shoe
Lane Fleet Street Saith that he this Informt. with Frans.
Thompson on or about this day three Weeks stopd a Man near the halfway House Stepney
from whom they took ten pence Saith that last Sunday
was a Week he this Informt. with Frans Thompson Stopd a
Man near the same place from whom they took one half
Crown Piece & about three Shillings, Saith that on or about
Monday, or Tuesday last was a fortnight he this Infort. with the
said [..] Frans Thompson stopd a Man near Stepney
Church from whom they took four Shillings, Saith that
he with Frans Thompsonthenon the Wednesday following
stoped a Man near the New River Islington and took from him
Eleven pence, Saith that he this Informt. in Company with
Frances Thompson on the Next Night stopd five different Men
near the halfway House Stepney from whom they took two Shillings & Nine pence. That on
Saturday following he this Informant Frans Thompson &
Richard Harrowsmith< no role > Stopd a Man in Stepney fields
from whom they took four Shillings in half pence, Saith that
the same Night they Stop'd a Man near the Green Dragon
Stepney from whom they took thirteen Shillings & Six pence
Saith that on the Sunday Night following he this Informt.
with Frans. Thompson & Richard Harrowsmith stop'd a Man
in Stepney fields and took from him his Hatt & C Stick
& three Shillings & a Pinchbeck Ring. That on Monday
Night following they Rob'd a Man near the same place of
a Five and three pence and ten Shillings. Saith that on the
Thursday following he stop'd a Gentleman in Stepney fields
and took from him Four Shillings and Six pence and one
bad Six pence & one Silver Watch.
