Maketh Oath that Ann Allen one of the persons above
named having pledged with this Deponent in the way of his Trade and
Business several Articles of wearing Apparel and she the said Ann Allen
together with the said Robert Simmonds and James Bishop having
been Apprehended and taken upon Suspicion of stealing the said
wearing apparel this Deponent appeared before David Wilmot< no role >

for the said County of
Middlesex
in Order to Give Evidence relating thereto and this
Deponent entered into Recognizance before the said David Wilmot
to appear before the Grand Jury at Hick's Hall and also at the
Old Bailey at the next Sessions in Order to give Evidence agst.
the said Prisoners for the said Offence and this Deponent further
saith that he did Accordingly Attend at Hick's Hall on Wednesday
Thursday and Friday last for the purposes aforesaid and saith
ha hath heard and believes that there were two Indictments
preferred against the said Robert Simmonds James Bishop and
Ann Allen by different persons one of which Indictments as this
Deponent hath since been informed and believes was found by the
Grand Jury on Thursday Last but thisDeponent was not
Called in to Give Evidence the Grand Jury on that Indictment
and this Deponent saith that he did not know nor had any notice or
Information Whatsoever that the said first mentioned Indictments
was found agst. the said Prisoners respectively and therefore this Deponent
continued at Hick's Hall the whole day on Thursday last in Order
