The Information of William

taken before me one of his
Majesty's Justices of the peace
for the said County

Who being severally upon Oath say and first
this Informant William Halily for himself
saith that on Saturday Morning last about five
o Clock this Informant was along with the other
Informant Michael McCartney at the Two
Brewers in High Street Saint Giles where he saw
the two Women now present who call themselves
Esther Mills< no role > & Sarah Wade< no role > and went with
them to a Room in Farmer Rents Hog Lane
and gave to each of them One Shilling to lay
down upon their Bed and this Informant when
he went into the said Room with the said two
Women had in a Box now produced which is
his property Nine Guineas in Gold that he &
the other Informant lay Down upon the Bed &
went to sleep and when he awaked the said
two Womens were gone and the Box & the nine
Guineas in Gold were taken & Carried away
that about nine o Clock in the Morning this Informt.
went to the House of the other Informant John
Wright at the Sign of the Crown the Corner of Hog
Lane who produced the Box now Produced with
four Guineas in it and he told this Informant he
had the Box & Money of Sarah Wade this
Informant further saith that when he was awaked
out of his sleep in the Room in farmers Rent he
saw a person now present who calls himself Peeling
Herne
< no role > in the same with this Informants Cane
Stick in his hand Menacing him & the other
Informant Michael McCartney for being in his Room
